It was a social experiment gone bad.

He couldn’t understand how complete strangers who never met could be friends or enemies online. How people only existing as screen names could become friends and care for one another, or become absolute enemies for no real reason. His propeller to the face comment meant he was the center of the propeller and we were all at various parts on the blades spinning around him. He could say whatever and do whatever and we all played into his game making him the center of attention on our internet. We don’t know him, yet he could make us hate him.

It was all a complex reality for a complex question that has such a simple answer. It’s an online community. Community being the key word. QBN is the equivalent to what pen pals were 50 years ago. Strangers sharing the same principle ideas communicating and caring for one other via paper. I don’t believe he truly hated Jaline or I, I think he just picked out two regulars as test subject to get violent with so he could sit back and watch the shit pot he created.

I still don’t understand how someone so smart and talented can miss the entire point of a social network and it’s communication... I mean he’s a f*cking designer, aren’t our designs MEANT to communicate with our users? Same thing... He just lost touch with his own reality.

    • I believe garrett west was an earlier adaption of this social experiment as well, but can't prove it.kona
