  I was a hard core Reason user until trying out and not much later purchasing Logic Studio. Reason is a phenomenal application, but there could be a pretty mean learning curve attached to it, especially coming from Garage Band, whereas Logic has a similar interface - plus a whole lot of extra sh*t - to those familiar with GB. I'd recommend giving both a try before buying.
