Remember a few things with reason. It is maily a program which provides synths and other outboard gear (instruments) which makes it great for creating electronice music; however, there is one thing that Reason is not really built to do and that is record live. For instance I use Reason to create my instrumentals (Pecussion, Strings, polysynths and such) then I route it through a multtrack program like protools using Rewire. And do recording of vocals through there. I can bring my whole reason project through one or many tracks of protools using Rewire. All that being said I love Reason I start most of my projects with it. You can do vocals in Reson, but from all I know you would have to use on of the samplers, and that's a bit silly, unless your creating a track with minimal vocals.
