we could wind up using gator board if we find a lighter material, but as of now, the 10 gauge steel sheet is gonna weigh close to 200 lbs. alone. then you got all the magnetic pieces that stick to it, so we can assume that the entire piece will be somewhere around 300lbs.
seems like that might be the best we can come up with. the shop guys dont really do this kinda work, and steel/iron is all they know that a magnet will stick to.
so if no one here knows of anything else, then i guess we'll just have to do what we have to do. . .
