    So you guys think suicide is acceptable? Even if a person is not in physical pain? Even if it's textbook depression that can be treated?

    How do you not see that euthanasia and suicide are the same thing? The ONLY difference is in who pulls the trigger.

    There is no dignity in suicide, regardless of how much pain one feels. The idea of a dignified suicide sounds like the samurai way to me...it implies an intrinsic misunderstanding of what true courage looks like.
