since everyone has a computer at home everyone is a designer, people don't realise the thought and emotion hat goes into what you produce. I was in a big department store just before xmas and i overheard a conversation, basically one of the girls in the store didn't like her job. the response from her colleague. go be a designer - you only need to know how to use the programmes. that kinda sums up what I mean when I say - no respect. so many people view it as just that - learning abit of software.

- those kind of designers (ex store clerks w/ no passion/drive to design) will be the ones who never, ever go anywhere.sintaxera
