I'm at kind of a crossroads with the current jay-ohh, and as luck would have it I got a ridiculous job offer out of the blue without even looking for it.
Not exactly sure what to do; I like where I am at now because it's all I know and the people are great but they want me to go back to school and I don't really want to (they pay for it of course). But somehow if I want to keep advancing those are the breaks. :X
I think I came to the realization a few months ago that this (either job now that I think about it) was nothing that I wanted to do when I "grew up" but somehow here I am with an actual career and not dead like I assumed after my first quarter century.
I guess the major difference is that I work in a corporation now and no matter how far I go up there is always going to be a ceiling to how much I can make even at VP level, but with the other being an already established startup - the propensity to make more money down the line is possible plus I wouldn't have to go back to school.
Ugh. I hate decisions.
