Yeah, it was a great win. Bryant was pressuring him pretty good, too. Big putt on the last hole, like in the movies.
Now Tiger's tied Ben Hogan on the lifetime tournament win list.
Of course Ben Hogan was hit by a bus at the height of his career, and that severely shortened and curtailed his victory list.
He's had a great run, but it can dry up at any time. At Tiger's age, Arnold Palmer's putting went right out the window, and in a year or two, he was just another golfer.
I love what Tommy Bolt said about Tiger a few years ago. "Oh he's incredible. Nobody's ever seen anybody as good as this guy. Amazing. But, shit, one bad marriage, and he could be just another golfer..."
