  sounds to me like you two just need a safe word. when you get too drunk and start pushing her buttons and she's had enough she just turns to you and in the most intense, serious tone ever says 'armageddon' and you know you've gone too far. end of the confrontation. i'm a great drunk. i'm always the life of the party.
