    Am I the only person on here old enough to have had a grant rather than a loan I wonder? I think we used to get £1200.00 a term, and my mom gawd bless her, thought it was necessary for me to have an annual tube pass at my disposal. That was another £400 I think - I never bought an annual tube card with it. Then I used to freelance at Aboud-Sodano for £70 a day for at least two days a week, sometimes all week... all tax free.

    I was never as rich as I was when I was a poor student.
