To me, There Will Be Blood is better than No Country For Old Men. While I liked both, TWBB kept me interested the entire time. I have to say though...I love character development so much but the endings of these films don't really do it for me. I liked them enough, but I feel like there could've been something more to them. That being said, TWBB had a better ending, in my opinion. But I think more loose ends were tied up in NCFOM, so I'm on the fence about the endings.
I've seen Daniel Day-Lewis in various films, and what amazes me about him is how different each character seems to be. Maybe I just watch too many indie films with him in them, but he's very underrated. I'm glad he won the Oscar now that I have actually seen this film too.
- I forgot to mention that his son, H.W. or whatever, was hawt when he was older. Daniel Day-Lewis is pretty hot himself.Jaline
