If they drink a lot, $100 is just a bonus to the hundreds and hundreds they would be saving over that time. People talk about how much you save when giving up smoking, giving up drinking is even more financially. Unless that was just how serious I was...
I get a pint once a month max now. It's afforded me so many other things in life and no headaches.
