I don't undersatnd why people think Aronofsky would do such a good job with Batman. His films are great but none of them show he could do a good Bat-flick. I also don't think any of Burton's movies were that great. He got the look (sort of..) but none of the dramatics. If the movies came about about because of the hype that started building around the comics in the late 70's and 80's then none of the films really managed to ride that wave. I don't think a real Batman movie has happened yet.
Get Danny Boyle and shoot it all on DV.
