Yeah, great film. Slightly spoilt by Kelpie declaring it as one of the 3 most important films in cinematic history (wtf?)

However i thought No Country for Old Men was a superior film. It's "message", so bleak and nihilistic, resonated with me more.

Also Daniel Day Lewis' performance was so cartoony verging on hamfisted. In his next film, he's in danger of becoming a parody of himself.

He should check out Tommy Lee Jones in No Country. for a masterclass in understated acting excellence.

    • I said top 5 potentialy, and I stand by it. Superior to No Country easily...kelpie
    • ... with a far deeper resonance to me. Opinions eh? everybody's got emkelpie
    • Oh right, yeah, top 5. When i sat down, i had top 3 in my head for some reason.. I was like, "we'll see about that!"Khurram
    • What was the resonance tho? Let's discuss this...Khurram
    • I'd love to, really, but maybe a bit later in the day. very busy just nowkelpie
