I run an A4(/letter) laser and an Epson inkjet.
The laser is way better when quantity or basic text is needed as the costs are way less. It takes way longer to RIP large files but prints quicker once its going. I use the inkjet for posters (Epsons can print up to 44inches in length) and they come out looking pretty much screenprinted. Also it can handle way heavier stock than my HP.
