Laserjets will always be better quality than inkjets in the home office area, though the cost of a colour laserjet (a good one) can be a bit silly, esp. if you want an A3.
However if you're going to a print shop to get your stuff done and they have good equipement you won't notice a difference.
Inkjets are all you're going to use if you print large too.
