i received an email from a dear friend about her brother's automobile accident. he's badly hurt but doctors expect a full recovery. reading the description of the accident and his injuries, he is quite lucky. his friend who was also in the car was not so lucky though. the email is full of gratitude toward God and all these other things about how God was looking after him. i couldn't help but feel a little uneasy when i read over those parts of the email. a few years ago though, i wouldn't have had a similar reaction and would probably be in full agreement.
i wish him a speedy recovery.
