About the Wonder Woman thing, it'll probably take a while longer to actually be made. It's on hold for now, I believe. I know Joss Whedon was having too many disagreements and taking too long making decisions, and that's why he eventually had to pull out of it. It's very unfortunate. Also, I think Joel Silver wanted someone like Jessica Alba to play Wonder Woman, whereas Whedon wanted a person who was relatively unknown. While this may not have worked for Superman, I think it would be fine for an unknown-ish person to play Wonder Woman. Especially since Alba has already played superheroes and similar characters before.
I think the film should also be made because most of the other movies based around female characters suck. Such as Catwoman and Elektra. Although, a lot of comic book films are not great in general.
