Wheelahan told police the kidnappers -- two men brandishing handguns -- tied him up in the back of his company vehicle and drove around for about 26 hours before leaving him and the van in the parking lot, Fortunato said.'
-- Apparently the two men got stoned in the back of the truck and developed a case of the munchies proceeding to eat about 4 Dozen donuts. Upon realizing this this the men became paranoid and made up this elaborate story so that Wheelahan would not get in trouble by his employer for the missing donuts.
