one of the first things that got me into digital video and filmmaking was an ad for a really early DV workstation in a magazine with big letters "MAKE LIGHTNING AND AMAZING SPECIAL FX!" and the first thing i thought about doing was electricuting myself over and over again with lightning...but my folks weren't going to dish out 10,000 bucks for a 12 year old to make home videos
