Am I right in saying MySpace, Facebook, YouTube etc were all built/programmed by the founders themselves, as in no external agencies?? So their only setup/build costs was their own time and huge amounts of effort, planning, ingenuity etc...
How can you put a price on a potential world leading site, that has the potential to earn serious $$$?! ...Unless maybe you go into the project as a partner...?
