i spent 4 days on a bus longest stop was 2 hours. you might at least have a bed and bathroom you can actually bend over in but... if you mean just travelling for 1 year by train, it'd be a a blast, but just a train for a year, assuming it's going somewhere...i bet you'd go nuts after 2 months tops, and just want to stay somewhere.
