this conversation has inspired me to have Underworld on this afternoon while working and everyone else in the office is being made to listen too.

i was a big fan of dubnobass and second toughest and the singles and remixes inbetween.
but i really wasnt impressed with beaucoup fish, they seemed to have went mainstream and were playing to the kids who loved "born slippy" because of the trainspotting and the over-airplay that song got. dont get me wrong, the song was amazing - but not after the zillionth time of hearing it.
mmy love for underworld came again last year when i got the soundtrack for breaking and entering and liked the electronica they brought to that. That in turn made me go out and buy A Hundred Days Off - which i think is a BRILLIANT album and definitely back to the "early days" kind of sound rather than the harsh beaucoup fish album.

    • See, in a way we agree that Beauvoir Cod represented a low for the collective!Spookytim
    • I fucking hate second toughest. there's one or two belters on BF though. hundred days off is patchy but alright.kelpie
