Could be a couple of things.
Does the embedded swf work ok or is it failing to show up in the browser? Are you using the video component in flash to embed the video, cos if so you need it in the same site structure for it to read correctly (ie, ../site/swfs/video.flv) or whatever, just make sure its trying to read the video from the right directory.
