At work yesterday, somebody when I got off the elevator had put a flip chart with, "I WILL:" reaaaaaaaaal big and then underneath it was stuff like:
- Smile.
- Take care of problems.
- I know my problems are hard, but I will perserver(sic)!BLAH BLAH BLAH!
I don't know why, but that kind of shit pisses me off something awful.
I went up grabbed a marker and wrote, "DO YOUR JOB AND STOP DOING THINGS LIKE THIS."
As I was doing this, a VP walked by and went, "Yea, crack that whip Romey!", and was laughing. I don't know if he was being sarcastic because it was about 11AM and I was just walking into the office, or the fact that he knows how I hate that phony chicken soup shit.
When I left at 4 I saw that no one had written anything more on it.
I'd check to see if it is still up, but I haven't been to the office yet...
