eternal sunshine was dissapointing I agree, but it was a new direction from his amazing legacy of work, if you look closely you will see very little of the usual gondry style in that movie, that's why there is a lot of people that loved eternal sunshine and hate everything else he did.. (Eternal sunshine fans may have liked block part as well, I think it was terrible and I love chappelle!)
The question is, did he claim to write this rewind movie? or was he just contracted to direct it?
