how does this sound :
top level navigation with tabs(similar to play or amazon)
then have: a side nav for each tab: third levellevel
have sections with an expandy/collapsy

with each expandy have a landing page ?yeah... with bread crumbs!
so thats
1. top navigation
2. tabbed
3 side nav section
4. expand/ collapse of side nav section
5. landing page navigation for final level.make sense?
