yup. spot-on. $15k is licensing fees they are trying to recoup sounds about right to me.... ; )
i would drop that ASP quote like a bad habbit and really want specific data model and/or technical architecture/platform specs from the LAMP quote. to be honest, that would not be my first choice, but that is not close to say it is insufficient in the least.
i will say, that even at $50, if the CMS is truly custom, and not a modded version of a pre-existing framework or install; that is very low and a crazy deal.
