    • no, the magnets inside the hard drive are a lot stronger than anything you are going to swipe across it. you could use an electromagnet but you would probably wipe out a lot more than the hard drive.ornj
    • an electro magnet but you are likely to just ruin the whole computer I would think.ornj
    • not to mention the knowledge and time it would take to build such an item, just smash the hard drive on the ground.ornj
