    It's social darwinism at work. This generation, by and large, has been raised to believe they are part of a big cosmic accident. That their lives are the product of a series of blind processes which didn't have them in mind. Therefore life has no real intrinsic value or dignity.

    Want to stop school shootings? Teach kids from infancy that they matter. That they have a purpose. That they were created with dignity.
