i think that's a fair point. he's saying let's not get all self-congratulatory and allow ourselves to think that saying sorry will actually fix anything. he's saying we need to keep up the pressure to ensure things actually change.
the way it's been reported is antagonistic too: "Pilger Tears Strips Off Sorry Day", haha are Channel Nine using reporters from The Sun to write their headlines?
