Pretty much every group of people (country) has subjugated a different group of people sometime in history.
What I want to know is when the Saxons and Angles are going to aplologize for what they did to the Picts.
Or when the Scandinavians are going to apologize for what they did to coastal europe.
or when the Huns are going apologize for what they did to central asia.
Or when the egyptians are going to apologize for what they did to the Jews
or the Jews are going to apologize for what they did to the cannanites
Or the italians are going to apologize for what the rmonas did to pretty much everybody.
My point is that it is not nice, its not friendly, but that's what countries do to each other. Hell it continues to this day if you look at whats going on in Africa and Turkey vs. the Kurds or Taiwan vs. China.
I think it is great that the Aussie gov't stepped up and was the first country to do it, but given the history of mankind I don't think any real change will come out of it.
Everyone should now go watch Once Were Warriors.
- Once were warriors, you do realise thats a New Zealand film right?weave
