monterey aquarium rocks. if you're there at the right part of the season you can go whale watching. the sea otters almost make it worth the trip. try to catch the theater hooked up to the sub/divers that takes questions from the audience. cannery row is sort of touristy and the food there sucks. if I had to complain about one thing it would be that the food in the whole town sucks. upscale, downscale, in the middle, it all sucked.
