Yes blaw. For people like me who always wanted to play an instrument but never had the drive, these games are like a dream come true.
For kids who are getting exposed to music earlier, and good music at that, the next generation of musicians are going to be incredible.
I liken this (and bear with me, this is just a kind of theory) to kind of like Beethoven, Mozart and the bunch back in the day. What they were doing was amazing, they were geniuses (and still are), however, centuries later there are people now who can play their songs just as well, at earlier ages.
Like all breakthroughs be it science, math, or music - it can be taught to the greater population bettering society going forward.
Evolution of the human mind and ... all that gunk.
... That's why I had "bear with me" before it may sound a little crackpotish, haha.
