    I would say stick with it, many of my friends in manchester just gave up after a month, disappointing as some where really talented.

    first thing is get a website that shows your portfolio off.

    when I gave up working for myself in my own studio, the first thing I did was slap up a website, might not have been the best in the world , but it did the job and I was hired in a week (2-3 interviews) so dont underestimate the true power of the web force!

    dont sign up for recruitment agecies, even though they might find an interview for you, if it comes down to you and someone else, they will go with the someone else, as if they hire you through the agency it will cost them 20% of your final wage, and face it who wants to pay that for a designer when there are plenty out there.

    and make contacts as its deffo who you know rather than what you know.
