i went through exactly the same thing and called everyone under the sun in manchester. employment agencies are shit and couldnt ever give a toss so dnt ever deal with them. also design agencies dont particulary like dealing with recruiters anyway. hense the fact that they are fuckin useless.
the only advice i could really give is to keep trying. it took me 8months but in the end it does happen. is it a junior position ur looking for cos its like a soap opera half the time and every studio knows everyone elses business so if i hear of anything i can let u kno.
