in playin around with it some, it's not too bad. can be as complicated or as easy as you want it to be. I'm trying to make the switch from static pages to developing client sites with a CMS so they can manage after site is done and there's just so many options out there.
Textpattern does look simple, but lack of a wysiwyg would be an issue for clients who don't know html.
