For me I think it came up (or 'off' as we say on the illustator's thread) when I apllied the google to something. I couldn't work out what was going on on Newstoday though... it made no sense to me. In the end I wrote to someone and asked how much it cost to post on it (thinking 'posting' was advertising your work) and they wrote back and said soemthing like $1300.00 for monthly access. Like a dumb fuck I thought that seemed quite reasonable for advertising globally but I didn't have the cash so I never joined in I just hovered and watched the 'ads' flicking by with immense interest.
The joke is on them though becuase now? why, I POST HERE FOR FREE!
