Wander around Papago park in just a tshirt, its like being on the moon, except for people barbecuing. Then hit Scottsdale at night and watch people valet parking Ferarris outside clubs with $20 drinks in..
It's an unreportedly vast place though, so as they say dig deep or you could go years without finding any culture. People are real friendly, so just just get chatting. Oh and be prepared to drive several hundred miles to get anywhere.
