It just looks blurrier. I'm sure there are good reasons, like people who's non-PC hardware upscales badly or something.
I was more interested whether people generally think that upscaling is the way to go, given the small quality increase (which to me, just seems like a bicubic resize) and the large file size increase.
I don't really see the benefit, and wondered if anyone else does. Anyone here actually take time to upscale their videos?
