  I also miss my old house. The wooden floorboard had two cracks and one could peep into the floor below, although nothing really happened in the dark - it was the ground floor, which was vacant and had never have any electricity. Those two cracks were made by years and years of freezing rain, pouring into the exactly same spots from two broken tiles in the roof. It hardly rains these days, so I miss rain as much as I miss my old house.

  • please, "had never have" is correct? doesn't sound right. "had never had" sounds better.
