I hate the feel of those things that are coil binded, but try to hide the fact behind a foldy out flappy cover. It doesn;t hide it, it just makes a mockery of trying to hide it. Just have the coil binding on show and move on.
The little 2" bind sections look a bit nicer on first glance but actually they make a document hard to operate if its opened on an a curve, so again in my humble opinion just go for the bog standard workhorse coil.
