Out on the streets, there's a tangible whiff of fear as the recession reveals its deadly hand. People are already panic buying. My local grocery store was packed, literally packed, with panic shoppers this lunch time. The fever gets you, takes hold, and guides you to join in. I did. I bagged a breakfast sub, a packet of McCoys, a Mars Bar and I got the hell out of there as quickly as possible to plan for the future.
