that is not true. the most accidents happen for 16-25 and elderly people over a certain age. they add a good percentage of accidents in there along with the young people. theyre reflexes arents as fast, as well as vision.
theres nothing more dangerous than an old person in the fast lane going 50 mph in LA. they'll eventually get rear ended and cause a pile up. I see it all the time. they also cause a lot of small car damage. hitting the corners of cars when they have to parrarel park (which you hav eto do often here) or just getting into a parking space. they seem to clip things a lot.
my step dad is nearing the age where we'll have to take his keys away. my sister doesnt allow my neices to drive with him because he is so jerky, agressive and he drives way too fast. he was a crazy driver when he was young, and now hes a crazy old driver who gets in way too many near misses. he doesnt want to admit hes losing it.
