  I was once offered the chance to do a course and I was going to go and do a print making course - a bit of etching. It's years since I'd done any and it was more to have access to a decent print making studio more than anything.

  About a month later the whole studio was made redundant and operations moved to Bristol in a cost cutting exercise.

  So my advice is don't take them up on the offer as it put's a strain on the budget and you lose you job... or do something that you can't do elsewhere.
