    If it's intra-EU, yes, you'd best present an invoice, in case they declare the payment at their end. For sure, bureacracy is such that the two ends will rarely be tallied, but then if you accept a bank payment, you'll still have to reconcile the payment at year's end anyway.

    If it's outside EU and you take it as an online payment, say with PayPal.. well.. then it might be worth taking a chance and not declaring it. I guess the likelihood of getting away with it depends on how upright you appear to the authorities in your other dealings.

    I don't know - it's a hard question to advise upon as a third party - the ease of transaction, quantity involved and likelihood of getting away with it should be your determining factors.

    Beware though - if you start out on that slope, it's an easy one to slip down on, and you may well get away with it ... for now. But 5 years down the line?
