    Sorry, I don't want to read every thread... but correct me if I'm wrong, to install programs you'll need another computer in the same room that DOES have an optical drive? Or pay $99 for a portable drive?

    • True, if you download stuff like I do, the drive isn't needed. But I'd like it for burning things and installing drivers, etc.Jaline
