Of course, Reagen was an actor and corporate shill who undermined the Constitution as well. He went off the reservation when he dismissed all his hardliners and left Beruit and talked to the Soviets. All the hardliners came buck under Bush W. and decided to redo Reagen foreign policy "right" before old Ronny got all misty eyed and friendly with Gorbachev - you know the old "bomb 'em back to the stone age and fund shit illegally with drug money from latin america" model. Sure we're bombing arabs instead of commies and we're runniong heroin from Afghanistan more than coke from columbia, but same shit same people (Cheney, Rumsfeld, Negroponte....)
