You don't want to go to that region, not because it's bad, just because it's difficult to move around down there, it's not as easy to get around for a tourist because it's off the grid system that most of the rest of NYC uses. Blame the Dutch for that one and the English for setting up the rest of it as a grid, hee hee ;)
