Believe me, my moral isn't particularly high when it comes to clients who skip the tab either - but putting yourself in a situation where you could get a thick lawsuit against you while STILL not getting the money they owe you AND risk pay them for the damages you caused, in most theft cases more than what they owed YOU in the first place ... not a good idea.
